Job Duties:
- Collecting product samples, sending samples out for testing or to customers, and performing in house analysis
- Maintaining and organizing samples and incoming material paperwork
- Perform sanitation inspections on equipment
- Perform calibration checks on equipment
- Communicate with other departments on quality related concerns
- Practice and adhere to the established standard operating procedures and policies
- Adhere to regulations on food safety, food quality, and good manufacturing practices
- Identify and report food safety and quality issues (non conformances/out of specification product)
- Work with management to maintain food safety and food quality, and communicate any related concerns
- Complete paperwork and sampling in a timely manner
- General filing for Quality Department
- Ensure required documentation is filled out clearly and accurately, following good documentation practices
- Review test results and assist with generating certificate of analysis on released batches
- Assist with recording and tracking test result data
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Dress out in company supplied PPE as required in designated areas
- Perform other duties as needed
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience working in a food manufacturing facility or experience in quality preferred
- Perform basic math functions: add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages, fractions
- Computer literate using Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, Outlook - Work in a fast paced team environment Pass pre-employment screening
