Supervisory Hydrologic Technician
As a Supervisory Hydrologic Technician within the Nevada Water Science Center, some of your specific duties will include:
- The incumbent provides full supervisory oversight of the Northern Nevada Field Office's hydrologic data-collection and analysis operations. This includes directing office and field activities related to the collection, computation, and evaluation of hydrologic data.
- The incumbent initiates and maintains regular communication with Federal, State, county, Tribal, and local cooperators to discuss water-resources information needs, explain USGS data requirements, and identify potential new studies or modifications to existing programs.
- The supervisor directs the collection, analysis, interpretation, and review of hydrologic data produced by Field Office personnel ranging from GS-6 through GS-11.
