*** Employnet is currently seeking a Facilities Technician for Day and Swing, offering $23.00/PH and $24.50/PH, in Carson City***

A facilities technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving building systems and equipment. This role supports daily operations by ensuring the facility remains safe, operational, and compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements. The technician performs routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.

• Building & Grounds Maintenance :
  Performing "make-ready" tasks to prepare spaces for use, repairing property amenities, and maintaining common areas (including pressure-washing and trash removal).
• Preventative & Reactive Maintenance :
  Diagnosing and repairing defects in mechanical and electrical systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and fire alarms, to minimize downtime
• Operational Support :
  Managing inventory for maintenance supplies, tracking tool usage, and collaborating with third-party vendors for specialized repairs.
• Safety Compliance :
  Participating in routine safety meetings and ensuring all activities follow OSHA and internal risk-management policies.
• Documentation :
  Using a computerized maintenance management system to document work orders, track service requests, and provide reports to management

Requirements & Skills

• Experience :
  Most roles require 2–4 years of related facility or maintenance experience.
• Technical Skills :
  Proficiency with powered tools, hand tools, and basic construction; forklift certification is often required.
• Physical Demands :
  The ability to stand or walk for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift/maneuver up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Soft Skills :
  Strong problem-solving, time management, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
