About the Role: As a Housing Caseworker-Eligibility in our Rental Assistance Department, you'll be a cornerstone in providing access to essential housing resources for individuals and families. This role requires a meticulous and empathetic professional to manage our Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and Project Based Voucher (PBV) programs, ensuring a lifeline for those in need. The Housing Caseworker-Eligibility is responsible for communicating with applicants, ensuring applicants receive all required documents, and answering general program eligibility questions.
The Housing Caseworker-Eligibility will maintain applicant files, logs, and correspondence in alignment with HUD, program, and agency policies and processes.
This position is open to both internal and external candidates. In the event an internal candidate is equally qualified as an external candidate, internal candidates will have preference in the selection process.
