Job Description About the Role
At Oracle Health, we're at the forefront of revolutionizing healthcare with cloud-native solutions powered by AI. Our goal is to transform how hospitals and physicians work, enhancing patient care and ensuring timely reimbursement. We are modernizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) systems using LLMs and AI agents, allowing clinicians to focus more on patient care and less on administrative tasks.
We seek highly skilled AI engineers to design and create high-scale, cloud-based data processing pipelines that ingest, transform, and analyze significant volumes of healthcare data with low latency, providing valuable business insights and analytics across EHR and RCM systems.
In this role, you will leverage LLMs, AI agents, and modern data platforms to tackle challenges like clinical decision support, revenue optimization, and workflow automation, employing AI-assisted development tools to accelerate project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Build and enhance data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data transformations.
- Contribute to LLM/agent-based features and analytics use cases.
- Work with EHR/RCM datasets and support KPI/dashboard development.
- Learn and apply best practices in cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and LLMOps.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
- Proficient in SQL.
- Deep expertise in data engineering: ETL, data transformation, and data modeling (Spark, SQL).
- Experience building high-scale distributed data systems.
- Cloud experience (OCI/AWS/Azure).
- Demonstrated experience developing new software features from design to production deployment.
- Ability to collaborate across various functional areas to develop integrated components.
- Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks.
- Experience with AI-driven solutions for rapid prototyping, testing, and iterative development.
- Regular use of ChatGPT, Claude, or similar models to enhance productivity.
- Experience with agentic architectures or GenAI platforms.
- Background in healthcare or digital health systems.
- Understanding of EHR systems and RCM workflows.
- Familiarity with healthcare coding standards (ICD/CPT).
As part of the software engineering division, you will define and develop software for tasks related to developing, debugging, or designing applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to fellow software developers, and implement essential changes to existing architectures to meet evolving needs.
