Truck Drivers - Cinderlite Trucking

Job Summary

We are currently looking for Transfer, and 10‑wheel drivers at Cinderlite to operate trucks with a capacity of more than 3 tons, transporting materials to and from specified destinations.

• Drive the truck to the destination while applying knowledge of DOT driving regulations and local roadways.
• Maintain accurate trip tickets and load documentation.
• Perform daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Collect payment for goods delivered and delivery charges.
• Maintain truck logs in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Load and unload the truck as required.
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs, including changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.
• Position blocks and tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 to 3 years of experience in construction hauling (preferred).
• Must possess a valid CDL Class A license with Air Brakes, Doubles/Triples, and Tanker endorsements.
• Experience operating 18‑speed manual transmission transfer trucks, end dump trucks, and belly dumps.
• Ability to read and interpret road maps; exercise good safety habits; follow instructions and meet scheduling standards.
• Physical capability to stoop, bend, crouch, use arms and legs fully, see clearly, and lift up to 50 pounds (including frequent lifting/carrying of objects up to 25 pounds).
