Roc Nation is looking for a highly motivated, organized, and enthusiastic individual, who is interested in learning more about the live entertainment and music industries. This internship will allow students to gain first-hand, experience in music publishing - the creation, management, and monetization of songs and the creatives who write and record them.
Areas that you will be learning about as a Publishing Intern- Song registration and file organization
- Coordinating songwriter sessions
- Handling songwriter travel budgets
- Searching for new talent with weekly reports to the department
- Relationship building with other departments within Roc Nation, as well as, Roc Nation Publishing’s administrator
- Publishing company organization and meeting preparation
- Must be able to work out of LA office for the Fall semester
- Must be currently enrolled as a full-time college student working towards your Associate's, Bachelor's or Masters degree or recent graduate
- Must have a strong passion for music and stay up to date with the latest trends and top charting music
- Interest in learning new web related technologies and software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite
- Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
- Familiarity with social networking sites desired. Tik Tok and Instagram are a must
- Familiarity with Keynote/Power Point
