The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), invites highly qualified, motivated, and well-organized applicants for a pool of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach appointments. The assistant coach is responsible for assisting with the operations of the Women’s Basketball program in accordance with NCAA, CCAA Conference and University rules, regulations and policies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: recruiting, scheduling, planning, organizing, fundraising, monitoring academic performance and promoting intercollegiate athletics and other duties as assigned by the head coach.

Employment Requirement
Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check) is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.
AdditionalInformation
Initial salary for COACHING ASSISTANT - 12 MONTH is based on professional experience and educational background and is determined by the hiring department. As of July 2024, the classification salary range is: COACH ASST-12 (Job Code 2382): $6,288 - $7,658.
