CSUDH offers Certificate Awards for students who complete three graduate level courses from the MSQA program and the appropriate capstone course. The student may take these courses through "open university" thus need not be enrolled in the MSQA program. Each student who satisfactorily completes a non-credit capstone course and the associated three graduate level credit courses from the MSQA program will be provided with a Certificate Award.
Students may also take NBQA 702 as an individual course.
NBQA 702• Certified Quality Engineer Preparation Capstone Course Description
The course will serve as a review of the ten major elements of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer examination. The course is offered in cooperation with the Los Angeles Section 0700 can help you prepare for the ASQ Certification. This certification is a recognized professional accomplishment bound to enhance your career and personal marketability. Sample questions for applications and principles will be of a similar format as they appear on the ASQ examination.
CourseObjectives
- Present a review of the major elements defining the body of knowledge
stipulated by ASQ for the Certified Quality Engineer examination. - Serve as a topical exposure to several of the courses presented by CSUDH Master of Science including areas of Statistical Process Control and Sampling, Design of Experiments, Reliability, Cost of Quality, Measurement (Metrology), Quality Management and Statistics.
- Provide a capstone course in Quality Engineering to compliment three other Quality courses presented in the Master of Science, Quality Assurance course se who successfully complete the three-credit courses listed below and the non-credit NBQA 702 Certified Quality Engineer Refresher Course earn a "Certificate in Quality Engineering" from CSUDH Extension .

The deadline to enroll for courses for most certificate programs is FOUR (4) BUSINESS DAYS or earlier before the class begins; course schedules are updated daily. If a course in which you are interested is no longer displaying in the course schedule, please be aware that its registration deadline may have already passed, or the course may have already reached capacity.
Review the schedule for alternate dates , or sign up for Program Updates to be notified of upcoming classes.
New Students

, simply select the course you want to take, click on the Cart icon to register, input your personal information, and pay for your class(es).
- If you are an existing CSUDH Continuing Education student who has been active in the past 6 months,you will use your regular CSUDH login information.
- If you are an existing CSUDH Continuing Education student who has been active within the past 2 years,but who has not been active in the past 6 months, you will need to reset your password by visitinghttps://csudh.edu/password .
- If you are a past CSUDH Continuing Education student who has NOT been active within the past 2 years,please register for your first (returning) course as though you are new student.
- If you are an existing CSUDH Continuing Education student who has forgotten your username, student r, and/or Toromail address,please call the CCPE Registration Office at (Option
1) during
Office Hoursto retrieve this information.
- If you are a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate CSUDH student who wishes to take a CSUDH Continuing Education course for the first time, please call the CCPE Registration Office at (Option
1) during Office Hours to get registered. (Please note that CCPE courses cannot be registered through MyCSUDH.)

If the course you want to register for has a prerequisite, after selecting "Checkout & Pay", you must Log In using your CSUDH campus credentials so that the system can verify that you have completed the required prerequisite course.

You will receive a refund within 10 days (depending on your financial institution). If you would like to switch courses or course sections, you must first drop the course, and then enroll in your preferred course.
