Assistant Coach, Women's Soccer

The Department of Athletics at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Coaching Assistant (12-month) with an anticipated starting date of July 1, 2026.

The Position

The ideal candidate will demonstrate successful coaching and recruiting experience at the collegiate level; excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills; and a strong commitment to the academic achievement and holistic development of student-athletes through knowledge and understanding of NCAA regulations. The Assistant Coach is expected to serve as a mentor and positive role model and to demonstrate sensitivity to equity, inclusion, and diversity in working with a diverse student-athlete population.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Coach assists with the daily operations of the Women's Soccer program in accordance with NCAA, CCAA Conference, and California State University, Dominguez Hills rules, regulations, and policies. Responsibilities include assisting with coaching instruction, player development, recruiting, practice and game preparation, and supporting the academic success and overall well-being of student-athletes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Applicants must have experience in working with students from diverse age, socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds.
• Bachelor's degree
• A minimum of 1 to 3 years of successful NCAA Division I, II, III soccer coaching experience.

Preferred /Desired Qualifications

• Coaching experience at Division II level
• Master's degree
• US Soccer B License
