• Manage the production of prototypes, test units, and subsequent manufacturing and testing to meet quality standards and planned schedules for delivery within target cost parameters.
• Design and prepare product drawings, operations sheets, process instructions, and maintain them at latest revisions.
• Determine manufacturing methodology and rates, material requirements, coordinate processing of products with secondary operation suppliers, and enter data into the business management system.
• Co‑ordinate with various departments to integrate new products into the manufacturing system and improve existing products by providing support on equipment, tooling and processes.
• Consult with research personnel to clarify or resolve problems and validate design.
• Prepare or coordinate preparation of product or system layout and detailed drawings.
• Plan and design trials, coordinate test programs and evaluate test results.
• Use computer‑assisted engineering and design software and equipment to simulate manufacturing processes.
• Analyze test data and cycle time to determine if design and process meet functional and performance targets.

The position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), an excellent 401(k) matching program, paid holidays and vacation. The salary range for this position is USD 85,000 – 110,000 per year.

• Master of Science degree (MS) in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• CAD Design/Modeling tools (preferred Solid Works).
• Finite Element Analysis, statics & dynamics.
• Strength of materials (metallurgy), heat treatment, coatings.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes that may include forging, machining, stamping and assembly.

• Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in MATLAB / numerical computing tools.
• Experience in design and manufacturing industry.
