Responsibilities include the testing, calibration, and verification of motor control algorithms, primarily focusing on advanced projects.
The Senior Motor Control Calibration and Integration Engineer contributes to continuously improving the team's technical excellence, discipline, and flexibility to ensure high-quality software deliverables, timely software integration, operational efficiency, and field performance review.
Plan and perform algorithm testing in dynamometer, HIL, inductive load, and vehicle test environments.
Manage the calibration set of motor control software for advanced projects.
Lead requirements verification for advanced motor controls and cross-functional vehicle-level features.
Work with cross-functional teams on electric actuator and vehicle bring-up activities.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve test stations for dynamometer, HIL, and inductive load testing.
Qualifications include a master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, 4+ years of experience in motor calibration and dynamometer operations, expertise in the theory and principles of AC electric machine drives and three-phase switching power converter topologies, and strong teamwork, data presentation, problem-solving, and project planning skills.
Pay disclosure:
The salary range for this role is USD ,900 for Southern California based applicants. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.
