Senior Medical Assistant – Limited X‑ray License (Carson)

Under the direct medical supervision of a physician, the MA with Limited X‑ray License implements delegated aspects of care and assists in both direct and indirect patient care and routine diagnostic radiographic services.

• Within 30 days of hire:
  National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
• 2 years medical‑assisting experience in a clinic setting.
• 2 years of experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast‑paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
• 6 months of working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years.

• Coursework/Training:
  Graduate of an accredited medical‑assisting program with an externship (applied learning). Or
• Coursework/Training:
  Completed medical training in the United States Armed Forces. Or
• Coursework/Training:
  Worked as a Medical Assistant in a clinic environment for at least six months. Or
• Upon hire:
  National Medical Assistant Certification.
