Payroll Manager (Bilingual English/Spanish)
Location:
South Bay, CA
Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 + Comprehensive Benefits
Schedule:
Onsite | Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations across multiple locations. This leadership role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with California labor laws, managing payroll personnel, and driving process improvements within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Payroll Administration- Manage end-to-end bi-weekly payroll processing for approximately 1,500 employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and California wage and hour regulations.
- Oversee payroll taxes, garnishments, deductions, and benefit contributions.
- Administer ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and Workforce Manager (WFM) systems.
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Lead, mentor, and develop payroll staff.
- Establish payroll procedures, controls, and best practices.
- Ensure payroll deadlines and accuracy standards are consistently achieved.
- Maintain expertise in California labor laws and payroll regulations.
- Prepare payroll reports, labor cost analyses, headcount reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Partner with auditors, tax agencies, and regulatory organizations as needed.
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
- Support payroll system enhancements, implementations, and integrations.
- Provide leadership with payroll analytics and workforce cost reporting.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- 7+ years of payroll experience.
- 3+ years of payroll management experience.
- Strong knowledge of California wage and hour laws.
- Experience managing payroll for large employee populations across multiple locations.
- Advanced experience with:
- ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
- ADP Workforce Manager (WFM)
- ADP HCM and related HR modules
- Experience configuring, testing, and implementing ADP functionality.
