We are seeking a dynamic, hands‑on HR Specialist for our food manufacturing facility. This is a critical role that bridges corporate policy and frontline operations. The HR Specialist will be the main point of contact for our workforce, balancing full‑lifecycle recruiting with robust employee relations, leave management, and workplace investigations.

Compensation &

Schedule:

Salary: $26 – $30 per hour.

Shift: First.

Work hours:

9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.

Education:

High School.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all Leave of Absence (LOA) accounts, maintaining all pertinent files.
  • Manage employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends in employee performance and engagement.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and decorations.
  • Implement talent management strategies to enhance employee development and retention.
  • Negotiate employee contracts and manage benefits administration.
  • Address employee relations issues employing conflict‑management techniques.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to develop HR policies that align with organizational goals.
Requirements / Experience
  • Proven experience in human resources management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with HR software systems.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Experience managing Leave of Absence (LOA) processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data for decision‑making.
  • Fluency in Spanish required.
Skills
  • Leave of Absence – 2years experience preferred.
  • Payroll – 2years experience preferred.
  • Employee Relations – 1year experience preferred.
  • HRMS proficiency.
Other
  • Work in a smoke‑free environment.
  • Work in a non‑temperature controlled environment.
  • Up to 1hour of overtime per week.
