Position Overview
The Regional Operations Manager – Climate Control reports to the Regional Manager and receives direction from the Sr. Regional Operations Manager. This role assists with regional operationally related projects such as training, performance standards improvement, safety, health, fleet management, and emergency response.
Responsibilities- Review regional metrics weekly and communicate improvement opportunities to the RM and Sr. Regional Operations Manager.
- Assist in onboarding and training of new Market Leaders, PCM’s, and Service Leaders.
- Address identified areas of operational efficiencies and complete related safety, health, vehicle, underperforming fleet, and team member change exercises.
- Develop ideas and initiatives for operational efficiencies and safety; present to leadership in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Lead or participate in weekly calls with the PCM’s to discuss SH&E metrics, fleet exceptions, training topics, and audit compliance.
- Engage with PCMs, RMs, and Sr. RMs to address field-level improvement opportunities; provide in-person/remote training and feedback as required.
- Serve as an ambassador for Climate Control and Sunbelt Rentals, supporting all business aspects and delivering service across the company.
- Train new team members on onboarding, SH&E, WYNNE processes, VDOS, audit compliance, and execution.
- Maintain standards for facilities, trucks, uniforms, procedures, leadership practices, and the Climate Control value proposition.
- Assist in the execution of disaster response protocols, including scheduling trucks, transferring, and tracking rental assets, supplies, and human resources.
- Review and manage unavailable fleet, downed fleet, and general inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience plus at least 4 years in the rental equipment or construction industries.
- Excellent knowledge of construction equipment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet/Intranet, and Wynne system.
- Ability to travel occasionally (less than 25%).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
- Strong business and technical acumen with analytical abilities.
- Strong project management skills and proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Base Pay Range: $81,951.00 - $. Starting rate may vary based on location, education, training, and/or experience.
