Sales Manager, Business Development
What you’ll do:
As the Business Development Manager for Utilimaster (An Aebi Schmidt Group Brand) covering the Los Angeles Territory, you will be accountable for driving revenue through innovative fleet maintenance, repair, and retrofit solutions.
In addition, you will focus on building strong relationships with fleet operators, assessing vehicle conditions, and delivering tailored service programs that keep fleets running efficiently.
Core Responsibilities- Develop and manage a top 100 account list within assigned territory
- Identify and engage fleets in key sectors (parcel delivery, food & beverage, service trades)
- Conduct on-site fleet assessments and document vehicle conditions
- Create and present repair menus, preventative maintenance plans, and service agreements
- Achieve quarterly sales targets and maintain accurate pipeline in Salesforce
- Build multi-level relationships and conduct quarterly business reviews
- Submit timely reports and provide competitive market insights
- Ensure Salesforce data accuracy (90%) for forecasting
- 5+ years of sales, new business development and territory development experience
- Walk In Vans, Commercial fleet business experience preferred
- Proven lead generation and closing skills
- Hunter mentality with a drive to exceed targets
Strong prospecting and networking abilities - Proficient in Microsoft 365
- Ability to travel up to 75%
- Previous experience in body shop estimating and fleet management
- Experience selling to commercial and/or fleet dealers
