Material Clerk

Akkodis is seeking a Material Clerk for a Contract job with a client in Carson CA
. Ideally looking for applicants with experience in receiving, stocking, issuing, packaging, and shipping and experience with Aerospace background would be a big plus.

Rate Range: $18/hour to $19/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Location:
Carson CA (Onsite)

Job Duration: 06 months contract

• Kits parts from stockroom locations for variety of orders.
• Performs part receipt and issue transactions in Business System (Movex)
• Performs all Logistics related transactions in Movex for parts issues, credits, and scrap.
• Accurately counts parts if assigned to the cycle count team
• Deliver parts to specified locations within the company premises
• Packages parts for shipping process and perform shipping transactions

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of logistics process and Bills of Materials
• Prior Experience creating excel spread sheets and entering data.
