The estimated base salary range for this role is $20.00 per hour. Individual pay is based upon location, skills, expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.

Job Description

This entry‑level position reports to the Production Supervisor and receives frequent guidance from a Senior Production Associate. Responsibilities include the assembly of high‑quality Architectural Systems (Standard, Adaptive, or Lighting).

Responsibilities
  • Perform transactions in Shop‑Trak; provide updates on project status, material movements, and scrap for all assembly & packing operations.
  • Collect parts and supplies for assembly and packing; conduct inventory of tools, parts, and supplies and resupply as needed.
  • Use hand tools to perform assembly and packing efficiently while meeting quality standards and safety procedures.
  • Identify product defects with peers and report nonconformances to Senior Production Associate or quality inspector.
  • Perform reworks/repairs following industry best practices and engineering instructions.
  • Coordinate movement of assembled parts or products to the next operation.
  • Prepare, assemble, package, and label completed projects for shipping.
  • Unload, receive, and store raw materials and supplies.
  • Complete work to meet production schedules.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas; clean and perform basic repairs as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Knowledge of personal computer usage.
  • Strong communication skills; a team player willing to learn.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including wearing required PPE, standing, walking, lifting, and operating in a dusty, hot, or non‑climate‑controlled setting.
  • Ability to work off‑shift hours to support plant initiatives.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in core production roles within 90 days of hire.
Physical and Mental Demands
  • Regular talk or hearing required.
  • Regular standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Regular use of hand‑eye coordination, grasping, manipulating, and reaching with hands and arms.
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions.
  • Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds; occasionally lifting or moving objects over 100 pounds using mechanical equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Must work in various weather and temperature conditions including extreme heat, humidity, and cold.
Work Environment

    Operates in a professional office setting with standard office equipment; no PPE required.
  • Plant Environment:
    Operates in a manufacturing setting with extreme temperatures, uneven surfaces, loud noises, and dust; PPE required.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
