CNC Machinist

Job Overview

The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Pay rate: $20.00-$27.00/hour DOE.

Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways.

• Operate and set up CNC machines (e.g., Okuma Milling machines).
• Inspect own work using various inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
• Maintain quality and production standards.
• Understand feeds, speeds, and surface finishes related to blueprint requirements.
• Apply basic CNC G‑codes and M‑codes.
• Make minor adjustments to CNC programs and tool offsets.
• Incorporate lean practices into daily activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement teams.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Willingness to work overtime.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with CNC milling and mill/turn machines.
• Ability to read, write English, and perform basic math.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
