Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Gig Ever wonder how your favorite snacks, coffee, and everyday products stay fresh on store shelves? It all comes down to the packaging. We are looking for a Quality Control Technician (I) to join our team at the Carson facility. This is an entry-level role where you don't need prior packaging experience—just a sharp eye, a great attitude, and a passion for making things perfect.

We will teach you the rest!

What You’ll Do As our frontline Quality Guardian, you’ll spend your day on the active manufacturing floor ensuring every flexible film, pouch, and printed roll looks pristine and performs flawlessly.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Audit & Inspect:
Run visual and hands‑on tests on raw materials, laminates, and finished pouches. You’re checking for correct thickness, structural strength, and perfect seals.
  • Spot the Flaws:
Use your eagle eyes to check printed artwork for exact color matching, crisp text, and perfectly aligned graphics against the master proof.
  • Play with Tech:
Use cool testing gear like micrometers, heat sealers, and optical scanners to measure quality metrics.
  • Team Up:
Collaborate closely with the printing, laminating, and pouch‑forming teams to catch mistakes early and keep the production lines running smoothly.
  • Log the Wins:
Keep clean, accurate data entries of your findings so we always have a track record of our top‑tier quality.
Who You Are
  • Detail‑Obsessed:
You notice the little things that others miss (like a slightly crooked logo or a tiny smudge).
  • Curious & Eager to Learn:
No packaging experience? No problem. You’re excited to jump into on‑the‑job training and build a real career in manufacturing and consumer packaging.
  • Great Communicator:
You can chat easily with machine operators and managers alike, giving clear feedback with a helpful, positive vibe.
  • Tech‑Friendly:
You’re comfortable navigating basic computer programs to input data and generate simple reports.
  • Safety‑Minded:
You care about your team and always follow safe practices and PPE guidelines to keep the Carson facility accident‑free.
