Press Operator requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous press operator or printing manufacturing experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical press systems. Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications. Strong attention to detail and quality control skills. Basic computer skills for production reporting and data entry. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and work effectively in a team environment.

Press Operator job duties:
Set up and operate printing press equipment for daily production. Adjust press settings to meet quality and production specifications. Monitor production runs and inspect printed products for quality. Troubleshoot minor mechanical and printing issues. Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance. Load, unload, stack, package, and prepare finished products for shipment. Complete production records and support inventory tracking. Follow safety procedures while collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines.
