Overview
Multiple Spindle Machining Technician

Key Responsibilities- With minimum assistance from Lead, perform all standard setup within standard time on router; operate, troubleshoot, and perform machine service as required
- Adjust machining parts and tooling, including sharpening tools on surface grinders or pedestal grinders
- Set up and operate equipment – Multiple Spindle (Davenport/Chucker)
- Produce and maintain high-quality parts per print specifications
- Work with materials such as Titanium, Aluminum, and other stainless steel
- Perform first piece verification per part print as required
- Run multiple machines as needed while maintaining quality, efficiency, and productivity per standard time
- Perform Preventative Maintenance per daily schedule
- Take initiative to perform daily 5S in assigned area and machinery
- Actively participate in autonomous maintenance and process improvement initiatives
- Understand and perform statistical process control
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet facility goals
- Follow EHS policies and procedures; report all incidents/injuries immediately
- Must be able to lift/move 30 lbs. (may be limited by EHS policies)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years experience operating machinery
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status
- 5 years’ experience operating machinery in precision metal forming within aerospace manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret product prints
- Ability to use inspection gauges and instruments
