CNC Operator

The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Operators will prepare machines, monitor production, and inspect finished components to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Pay Rate: $19.25 – 25.80/hour DOE.

Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by:

• Preparing and operating CNC machines for tasks such as drilling and milling
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Loading raw materials and parts onto machines
• Performing test runs and adjusting settings to meet specifications
• Monitoring machine operations and adjusting for optimal results
• Inspecting and measuring finished products for accuracy and quality
• Performing routine maintenance and daily checks on equipment
• Maintaining accurate job logs, routers, and related documentation
• Keeping work areas clean and organized in compliance with safety standards
• Supporting team scheduling, training, and workflow coordination as needed

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Certificate or diploma from a trade school (preferred)
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
• Attention to detail and a results-driven approach
