EDM Operator (2nd Shift)

The Wire EDM Operator is responsible for operating electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment to produce precision components according to specifications. Pay range: $20.00 - $27.00 DOE

A Day In The Life Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:

• Set up, and operate EDM machines
• Inspect parts produced to verify conformance to quality standards
• Perform routine machine maintenance to ensure that it is running properly.
• Choose correct program and enter all necessary parameters into machine control
• Clean and conduct preventative maintenance of machines
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and organized.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, height gage, and indicators.

What will help you thrive in this role?

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a Wire EDM machine
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Understanding and application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document processes
• Background in R&D, prototyping, or high-mix environments
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
