A consumer products company specializing in housewares with approximately 300-400 SKUs.

Over 90% of products are sold in the US market. Primary sales channels have shifted toward large discount and off‑price retailers. Previously focused on mass retailers like Target, catalogs, and TV shopping.

The company operates multiple brands across various product categories but lacks overall cohesiveness, resulting in a somewhat random product assortment.

• Expertise in consumer products, particularly large housewares with high SKU volumes.
• Strong background in product design, brand oversight, merchandising, branding, and marketing.
• Experience ensuring brand fit and cohesiveness, with the ability to “slow down” processes for quality and alignment.
• Proven track record in brick‑and‑mortar retail (e.g., discount/off‑price channels), not e‑commerce.
• Combination of product development oversight and creative/packaging skills, with priority on brand cohesiveness, packaging, and multi‑brand management.
• Ideally based in or near Southern California for in‑office presence 4 days per week, though remote candidates outside the area may be considered with reduced on‑site requirements.
• Ability to start ASAP, with availability for interviews next week.
