Carts Co-worker

What you’ll be doing day to day

• Provide friendly and efficient cart loading and/unloading services while keeping the loading zone clean by clearing away straps, excess carts, and cardboard.
• Ensure that all physical shopping tools, including carts, pencils, yellow bags, maps, and twine, are adequately stocked and maintained throughout the store during business hours.
• Ensure physical shopping tools are replenished at closing.
• Monitor the condition of physical and digital shopping tools, report any IT issues, and remove any physical stands or tools that are unsafe.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues independently; when necessary, elevate matters to a manager.
• Support in other customer‑service areas such as Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO), Exchanges & Returns, and Click & Collect as needed.
• When assisting in FSHO, provide customers with a simple and efficient hand‑out experience.
• When supporting Returns, ensure products and equipment are properly staged.
• When supporting Click & Collect, create a positive customer experience by ensuring accurate order hand‑off.
• Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co‑workers and customers.
• Work retail environment nights and weekends as required by shift schedule.

Job Type: Permanent - Part‑Time (limited benefits)

Hours:

12–20 hrs/week (PT)

Pay: $19.50 per hour

Shift: Retail Environment; must be able to work nights and weekends.
