Position Title(s)

Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor

Job Summary

As a member of Management, you will be the heartbeat of our store, responsible for managing daily operations, inspiring a high‑performance team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the store’s success and contribute to our company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team; foster a positive work environment, set clear goals, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure top performance.
  • Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achieving sales targets.
  • Oversee daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance; ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance and drive revenue growth.
  • Implement local marketing initiatives and build strong relationships with the community to enhance brand presence and attract new customers.
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities; identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance store operations.
  • Additional duties and projects as required.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
  • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
  • Minimum qualifications include open availability during store opening/closing hours and a minimum of 5 days per week.
Minimum Requirements
  • Assistant Store Manager:
    Open availability, including during opening and closing hours; minimum 5 days per week, average 44 hours (may increase during peak periods).
  • Supervisor:
    Availability during opening and closing hours; minimum 5 days per week, minimum 30‑hour work week.
  • All Management roles:
    Availability on weekends and holidays; punctuality and regular attendance per company policies.
  • Must have reliable transportation and speak/read/write English.
  • May be required to relocate within the company’s network.
Physical Demands
  • Prolonged standing (5–14 hours) and working up to 12 hours during peak periods.
  • Stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling to stock merchandise; climbing ladders or ascending/descending stairs.
  • Lifting items weighing 5–25 lbs regularly; may be higher.
  • Good vision, including color differentiation; moderate noise environment.
Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent; 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation

Assistant Manager pay range: $18.38– $21.50 per hour with bonus opportunities in addition to base pay if store KPIs are met. Supervisor pay range: $19.81– $19.81 per hour. All roles are eligible for the company 401K plan and full‑time benefits including medical, dental, vision, sick leave, parental leave, and company‑paid time off.
