Position Overview
BDC Consultant - Porsche San Diego, Holman Family. This in-store role is critical in creating and maintaining a productive relationship between our centralized BDC, service customers, and store stakeholders to drive sales.
Key Responsibilities- Maximize Internet Lead, Portfolio Management, and Exchange (Service Drive) sales performance.
- Facilitate effective Turn-Over (TO) and appointment distribution to Sales Advisors.
- Follow-up with TOs to ensure workflows executed and review customer needs ensuring each TO handled personally and promptly.
- Track TO and appointment activity to ensure robust follow‑up executed.
- Prepare in advance with sales advisors for all internet lead appointments, including appointment confirmations, and reschedule "No Show" appointments when applicable.
- Maintain daily physical presence on the showroom floor.
- Support sales advisor follow‑up, maximizing every sales opportunity.
- Maintain regular clear communication with BDC leadership, coordinators, and store stakeholders to maintain productive collaboration and identify opportunities.
- Manage portfolio and vehicle exchange: identify in‑market service and portfolio customers, outreach and establish needs.
- Consistent communication and collaboration with store leadership to identify next steps for each customer.
- Utilize customer retention software effectively to ensure execution of agreed activities and track all activity.
- Plan and allocate time effectively between Internet leads, portfolio management, and vehicle exchange.
- Provide outstanding customer experience to ensure all customers feel valued and welcome.
Hourly rate of $26.44 plus a monthly performance bonus (Target Total Comp/OTE: $73,000).
Qualifications- 2–4 years of customer service or sales experience.
- Proficient in desktop tools including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills.
- High school diploma required.
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
- Experience using CRM tools or automotive CRM is a plus.
- Familiarity with dealership operations and BDC functions is a plus.
- Experience reviewing and improving processes to increase efficiencies.
