Position: Software Engineer (Supply Chain Systems)

Wooltari USA Inc. is a fast-growing e-commerce company delivering premium Korean food and lifestyle products across the United States. Headquartered in Carson, CA, with an additional fulfillment center in Pennsylvania, we ship over 1,000 refrigerated, frozen, and shelf-stable products nationwide. We operate in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse where speed, accuracy, and teamwork directly impact customer satisfaction.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Software Engineer to help build and scale the supply chain systems and Warehouse Management System (WMS) that power our cross-border commerce and logistics operations across the United States and Korea.

In this role, you will design event-driven data pipelines, integrate with external sales and operational platforms at scale, and develop inventory, fulfillment, and operational systems that support end-to-end supply chain workflows. You will work closely with both U.S. and Korean teams to build scalable logistics infrastructure and internal operational tools from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
  • WMS Development: Design and develop core Warehouse Management System (WMS) features, including inventory tracking, order fulfillment, warehouse operations, and internal logistics workflows used daily across U.S. logistics centers.
  • Event-Driven Data Processing: Architect and implement event-driven pipelines to reliably process high-volume order, inventory, and operational data across distributed systems.
  • External Integration & Data Synchronization: Integrate with external sales channels and platforms (e.g., Shopify) using webhooks, APIs, and ETL pipelines while ensuring reliable, real-time data synchronization across systems.
  • Supply Chain Data Architecture: Design and structure the foundational data models and workflows required to support end-to-end supply chain and import/export operations.
  • Cross-Team

    Collaboration:

Collaborate with U.S. and Korean teams to identify operational challenges, coordinate technical solutions, and improve internal processes.
Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience using Type Script.
  • Strong backend/server-side development experience with Node.js.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and message queue systems (e.g., Inngest, Redis, Pub/Sub, BullMQ).
  • Experience building data synchronization pipelines using webhooks, APIs, and ETL processes.
  • Experience integrating with external platforms at scale, including handling API limitations such as rate limits, quotas, retries, and authentication flows while maintaining data consistency across distributed systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or fulfillment/logistics platforms.
  • Experience developing Shopify apps or integrating with e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and database optimization for high-volume workloads.
  • Experience with serverless backend platforms (e.g., Cloud Functions, Firebase, Supabase, Hasura).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional team environments.
  • Ability to read and write technical documentation in English and/or Korean.
Why Join Us?

You will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the development of global e-commerce infrastructure, high-volume order processing systems, and warehouse management platforms connecting Korea and the United States.

As the company continues to grow rapidly, you will take on meaningful technical ownership, influence system architecture decisions, and gain hands‑on experience building innovative logistics and commerce systems at scale.
