- Hourly pay: $23.00 per hour
- Hours per week: 40–50
- Paid training
- Schedule:
Monday – Saturday, off Sunday and one day during the week - Start time: 4:00 AM – 6:00 AM

Trucks are 36 months or newer and include 24/7 roadside maintenance; company drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.
Responsibilities- Safely drive a vehicle and comply with safety regulations; participate in continuous training and provide customer service.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate records; loading/unloading freight or assisting with loading/unloading as required by the customer.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Must have verifiable driving experience (as applicable to equipment)
- 6 months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years
- Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures
Important note:
Some positions require additional screening such as employment/education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or customer-specific requirements.
- This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
- Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring compliance with applicable laws and safety standards; detecting and eliminating safety hazards; maintaining accurate records; loading/unloading freight as required.
