Facility Coordinator

Job Overview

Clean Harbors is currently looking for a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to join their team at Carson, CA! As a Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting shipping and receiving operations, maintaining inventory data, managing documentation, and assisting with administrative duties to ensure smooth facility operations.

Hours:

8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay: $22 to $23/Hr

• Ensures health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Performs daily tasks of drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, and offloading trucks.
• Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements, able to use scanning application.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management.
• Prepares all outbound shipments for final destination: bar coded, weights, palletized.
• Coordinates load between hubs, plants, and central logistics; ensures transportation efficiency and maintains compliance with storage permits; dispatches transportation from hubs, maximizing trailer weights.
• Assists on tracking of manifest return timelines.
• Maintains Hub Database Outlook - Hub Management.
• Assures proper DOT exemptions are utilized for proper transfer and management of TTT containers prior to departure from facility.
• Reports and assists on any issues that may occur at the hub facility, such as leaks, releases to the Health & Safety Manager or Compliance Manager immediately.
• May be assigned additional duties not listed above based on business needs.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ Years of related experience.
• Forklift experience preferred (Not required).
• Ability to use computer.
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
• Office work.
• Excel, Microsoft.
• Moderate computer skills.
• Traveling when needed to cover/train new employees (When Needed).
• Requires strong computer skills.
