Courier

Job Description

We are looking for a Courier to join our Southern California team. This person will be responsible for providing courier services across our network of laboratories in central and southern California. When not performing courier tasks, this individual will assist with sample login responsibilities onsite at our Carson, CA laboratory.

• Operate on a routed schedule for pick up and/or delivery of materials within established time frames
• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures
• Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition
• Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with company regulations
• Use of automatic routing or location software, such as a GPS, provided by the company
• Ensure that compliance to ISO 17025 standards is maintained
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4:30 PM

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED (Required)
• Valid Driver’s License (Required)
• Clean driving record (Required)

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Is punctual, reliable, and exercises good judgment
• Ability to interact with clients as a responsible representative of the company

Additional KSAs

• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast paced, highly professional environment

Vision Requirement

• Close Vision (clear vision at 20 inches/50 centimeters or less) (Required)
• Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet/6 meters or more) (Required)
• Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given post) (Required)
• Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distance and three-dimensional relationship) (Required)
• Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus) (Required)
• Ability to see color (Required)

The expected salary range for this position is $20–22 per hour. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.

Position anticipated to close May 18, 2026.
