Location: Carson, CA
Pay Rate: $19.75 per hour + OT after 8 + DT after 12
Schedule:Monday – Sunday with 2 days along the week

• 23+ years of age.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Willneedto stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Has experience with handheld scanners/tablets.
• Willing to work in all types of weather conditions
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-driven.
• Able to speak and converse with outside drivers (Primarily English; Spanish is a plus).

As a Transportation Gate Clerk you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.

The Transportation Gate Clerk is responsible for operating vehicles safely while transporting products and materials according to established schedules and delivery requirements. This position requires sound judgment, strong driving skills, and a commitment to protecting people, cargo, and equipment.

Successful Transportation Gate Clerk candidates understand the importance of vehicle inspections, transportation safety, and maintaining accurate records throughout the delivery process. Adaptability and professionalism help drivers respond effectively to changing road conditions and customer needs.
