Installer (Warehouse Associate as Needed) – Premier Services Division

Job Summary:

The Installer (Warehouse Associate as Needed) – Premier Services Division is responsible for the delivery, installation, and handling of high-value furniture and premium goods. This role primarily supports field delivery and installation services while providing warehouse support when required by business needs. The position requires flexibility, physical capability, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering white-glove service.

Installer Responsibilities:
  • Load, secure, unload, move, and install furniture using proper tools and handling techniques
  • Assemble, place, adjust, and install furniture according to plans and client expectations
  • Inspect items before and after delivery or installation, photograph and document condition
  • Protect client property using padding, floor coverings, and other safeguards
  • Provide professional, courteous interaction with clients and on-site personnel
  • Complete delivery, installation, and damage documentation accurately and timely
  • Communicate issues, delays, or discrepancies promptly to supervisors
  • Follow all company safety procedures and handling standards
Warehouse Associate Responsibilities (As Needed):
  • Receive inbound shipments and verify items against shipping documents
  • Inspect and photograph furniture and goods for damage, accuracy, and condition
  • Palletize, wrap, label, stage, and store items according to Premier Services standards
  • Pull, stage, and load furniture for outbound deliveries
  • Assist with inventory counts and warehouse audits
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts (if certified)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in furniture delivery, installation, moving, or warehouse operations preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic proficiency with mobile devices and documentation tools
  • Forklift certification or experience a plus (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing 50–75 lbs; heavier items with assistance
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to safely maneuver large, bulky, and delicate furniture
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:
  • Residential and commercial installation sites and warehouse setting
  • Exposure to moving equipment, tools, stairs, elevators, and heavy items
  • Indoor and occasional outdoor work conditions
  • Emphasis on safety, professionalism, precision, and care
Schedule & Travel:
  • Full-time position with schedule flexibility based on business needs
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, or overtime as required
  • Local and regional travel required; overnight travel may be required
