Material Handler, Forklift Operator

Position OverviewThis position is responsible for receiving, moving, storing, and distributing materials. Additional responsibilities include preparing labels and packing materials for shipment, loading and unloading trucks and containers, and operating industrial powered equipment such as a forklift. Bruker OST is a manufacturing facility and we seek candidates with previous manufacturing experience.
ScheduleMonday–Friday 8:00 AM– 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and invoices.
- Check for damages or discrepancies in incoming goods and report issues promptly.
- Move incoming and outgoing materials and products to designated storage areas.
- Pick, pack, and label products for shipment.
- Assist with material disposal using an industrial scrap machine.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of shipping and receiving activities.
- Keep work areas clean and safe, following company safety and housekeeping procedures.
- Contribute to process improvements within the department.
- Handle and transport hazardous materials.
- Follow all safety regulations as outlined in the OST Safety Manuals.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics training is a plus.
- 1–3 years of experience in shipping/receiving, material handling, or warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (current certification preferred).
- Basic computer skills are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Ability to follow all safety regulations.
At Bruker, the base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated hourly range for this full-time position is between $14.00/hr and $22.00/hr and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary will depend on several job-related factors, including education, training, experience, geographic location, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge, and travel requirements.
