Job Opportunity At Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery

Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is seeking dependable and motivated line operators for the morning shift (7 AM- 3 PM) and evening shift (3 PM- 11 PM) to join our production team. This cross-trained position is responsible for operating and monitoring multiple pieces of production equipment throughout the cookie manufacturing process, including mixers, depositors, ovens, icing equipment, and packaging machinery. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality products while maintaining efficiency and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating and monitoring production equipment, including dough mixers, dough depositors, ovens, frosting applicators, and packaging equipment.
• Following daily production schedules to ensure production goals are met.
• Maintaining product quality by following company specifications and food safety standards.
• Monitoring production to minimize scrap and maximize product yield.
• Performing routine equipment inspections and reporting maintenance concerns.
• Setting up, changing over, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment as needed.
• Accurately completing production and quality documentation.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Working closely with production team members and other departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Following all GMP, food safety, and company safety policies at all times.
• Previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
• Experience operating or learning multiple types of production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work around production equipment and warm temperatures near ovens.
