Position: Registrar (2026-2027)
POSITION TITLE: Registrar for the  School Year

JOB DESCRIPTION: Supports administration, counselors, and office support in registering students;
Verifies appropriate documentation needed for legal approval of enrollment into schools;
Coordinates all provisional enrollments for adherence to state law;
Maintains registration database for proper scheduling;
Communicates with administration, counselors, and parents/guardians regarding enrollment status and ensures all proper information is on file for student records;
Answers phones and greets visitors. Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance. Performs other duties as assigned and works on special projects as needed.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING: Minimum of high school diploma or GED;
Strong organization skills;
Strong computer skills - entry, database, spreadsheets;
Excellent communications skills - oral and written;
Customer service orientation in communicating with all stakeholders in person and on the phone.

SKILLS: Treats confidential information and sensitive situations with discretion;
Ability to work in a hectic environment;
Presents a professional image when representing BCSS through word, action and dress;
Physical activities required to perform all job duties to include standing and/or sitting for long periods of time.

EXPERIENCE: Previous secretarial experience preferred.
