Position Overview

Talent Corps is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Safety & EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Coordinator to support workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations for a project in Cartersville, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a safe work environment, conducting safety training, and promoting a strong safety culture across construction and industrial job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and policies.
  • Conduct routine job site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and client safety requirements.
  • Facilitate safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing employee training.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries and assist with corrective action plans.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor subcontractor and employee adherence to site‑specific safety requirements.
  • Assist management in identifying and mitigating workplace hazards.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement and communication.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, or EHS‑related environments.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
  • OSHA 30 certification; OSHA 10 required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
