Position Overview
Talent Corps is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Safety & EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Coordinator to support workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations for a project in Cartersville, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a safe work environment, conducting safety training, and promoting a strong safety culture across construction and industrial job sites.

Key Responsibilities- Assist in implementing and maintaining Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and policies.
- Conduct routine job site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and client safety requirements.
- Facilitate safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing employee training.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries and assist with corrective action plans.
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Monitor subcontractor and employee adherence to site‑specific safety requirements.
- Assist management in identifying and mitigating workplace hazards.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement and communication.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, or EHS‑related environments.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
- OSHA 30 certification; OSHA 10 required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
