Job SummaryThis position is responsible for the leadership, strategic oversight, and administration of the College's Dual Enrollment initiatives. The Director of Dual Enrollment manages the academic, operational, and partnership aspects of dual enrollment programming; ensures compliance with state, regional accreditation, University System of Georgia, Georgia Student Finance, and institutional requirements; supports student access and success; and provides supervision and direction for staff assigned to dual enrollment operations.
Responsibilities- Is responsible for understanding, supporting, and carrying out the college's mission, vision, and values and complying with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies
- Supports the GHC strategic priorities:
Access & Opportunity, Inclusivity & Engagement, Student Success, and Efficiency & Effectiveness - Provides strategic leadership for the college's Dual Enrollment program
- Develops, implements, and evaluates goals, processes, procedures, and business practices for dual enrollment operations in alignment with the overall strategic plan of the college
- Builds, develops, and maintains positive working relationships with local school districts, school administrators, principals, counselors, instructors, parents, and other community stakeholders to promote College partnerships and collaboration
- Serves as the College liaison for dual enrollment programs and services with school systems, outside agencies, community leaders, and state partners
- Identifies opportunities to expand dual enrollment to improve student access, academic pathways, and enrollment growth
- Ensures the consistency, accuracy, and effectiveness of dual enrollment program operations across campuses and service areas
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, University System of Georgia, Board of Regents, Georgia Student Finance Commission, accreditation, and institutional policies and procedures related to dual enrollment
- Serves as the designated institutional administrator or lead representative for dual enrollment processes with Georgia Student Finance and other appropriate external agencies
- Oversees the dual enrollment funding application process and ensures that approved courses align with state eligibility requirements and institutional curriculum standards
- Collaborates with Academic Affairs to ensure course offerings, faculty/instructor credentials, curriculum alignment, and academic quality meet college and accreditation standards for college-level instruction delivered to high school students
- Monitors and evaluates enrollment trends, student participation, retention, completion, and other key performance indicators related to dual enrollment programming
- Develops and improves mechanisms for tracking, analyzing, and reporting program data statistics and provides comprehensive and interpretive reports to distribute findings, assess effectiveness, and support institutional decision-making
- Prepares reports, presentations, and recommendations related to program outcomes, strategic growth, compliance, and operational effectiveness
- Communicates with internal and external stakeholders regarding significant program changes that impact the college
- Recruits, supervises, trains, evaluates, and supports staff assigned to dual enrollment initiatives
- Provides leadership, guidance, and professional development for staff and faculty involved in dual enrollment programming
- Maintains current knowledge of the field or profession and travels to training workshops, conferences, meetings, school visits, and professional events outside of college locations, as needed
- Performs other job‑related duties as assigned
Master's degree in Education, Student Affairs, Higher Education, Public Administration, or a related field
Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, secondary-to-postsecondary partnerships, dual enrollment, admissions, advising, outreach, or related area
