Environmental Compliance Specialist - Cartersville Job Requisition Number of Openings: 0 Shift: Day (United States of America) Compensation Details: ECS 1 - $41,600.00 ECS 2 - $45,760.00 ECS 3 - $50,336.00
Under supervision, learns to evaluate programs for compliance with environmental laws, rules, and regulations and recommend monitoring and corrective/enforcement actions.
Minimum Qualifications:- RCP
020 – Environmental Compliance Specialist 1 Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Geology, Engineering or other closely related field from an accredited college or university. - RCP
021 – Environmental Compliance Specialist 2 Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Geology, Engineering or other closely related field from an accredited college or university. - AND Two (2) years of professional job-related experience in environmental protection.
- OR One (1) year of experience at the lower-level Environmental Compliance Specialist 1 (RCP
020) or equivalent position. - RCP
022 – Environmental Compliance Specialist 3 Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Geology, Engineering or other closely related field from an accredited college or university. - AND Three (3) years of professional job-related experience in environmental protection.
- OR One (1) year of experience at the lower-level Environmental Compliance Specialist 2 (RCP
021) or equivalent position.
- Experience conducting regulatory compliance inspections.
- Experience enforcing rules and laws.
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, geology, engineering, or other closely related field from an accredited college or university.
