Ultrasound Technician – Nights

Schedule:

Tuesday – Friday, 9:00pm – 7:30am. On‑call and holiday requirements apply as needed.

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic examinations and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provide patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Communicate effectively with staff and radiologists.

• Graduate of an AMA‑approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or a JRCERT‑accredited hospital‑based training program –

• In lieu of a certificate, equivalent experience according to the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) –

• ARDMS – Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography; must become registered by the ARDMS within 6 months of employment –

• (BR) ARDMS or ARRT – Breast Sonography (BS); breast licensure requirement for breast ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT –
