Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required (hard requirement)

• Patient ratio of 2:1 for all shifts (days, nights, weekends)

• Every other weekend schedule required

• No call responsibilities

• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed

• 21-bed intensive care unit serving adult and geriatric patients

• Holiday work required based on assignment period: work 1 holiday if 1 falls during assignment, work both if 2 fall during assignment, work 2 of 3 if 3 fall during assignment

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

• Epic charting system experience preferred

• Must be available to submit compliance documents and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract

• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed

• Full compliance required to start on time

• Skills include neuro intensive care, cardiac interventions, ventilator management, arterial line management, and various critical care procedures

• Two supervisory references required at time of submission

• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal

• Unit accepts first-time travelers

• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, and pharmacy
