Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in critical care nursing
License:
Valid nursing license required

Certifications:

ACLS, BLS

Must-Have:
- Experience in managing dysrhythmias
- Arterial line management
- Central line care/management
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
- BiPAP/CPAP management
- Care of ventilated patients
- Suctioning (ETT, NT)
- Isolation precautions/PPE

Description:

These positions will be hospital float pool staff.
Staff will be expected to float throughout the hospital, including the Emergency Department.
Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
No call is required.
Full compliance is required to start on time.
If compliance is not met, there may be a pushback of 2 weeks due to orientation schedule.
If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the staff member is expected to work it.
If more than one major holiday occurs, they will be expected to work a designated number based on the policy.
Two supervisory references are highly preferred at the time of submission.
Candidates must be open to flexibility regarding locations, units, and shifts.
Previous charge experience is preferred but not required.
Travel experience is not required but is a plus.
