Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and a GA or compact RN license, working night shifts on a 12-week contract.

Job Details

• ICU setting within a hospital environment,

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30),

• Every other weekend required,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed,

• No schedule change requests or alternate shift arrangements are permitted,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required,

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required (hard stop),

• All applicable certifications must be current and copies provided for consideration,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,

• Local candidates are accepted,

• RTO is capped at a maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment,

• Holiday coverage is required: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them - major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day,

• Travel pairs are not permitted on the same shift within the same unit,

• Candidates who have previously worked at any Piedmont facility must have been away for a full year before returning as a traveler,

• Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time; non-compliance may result in a two-week pushback due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule,
