Custom Purchase Order Coordinator - Commercial Interiors
Shaw Industries is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Custom Purchase Order Coordinator to support the execution of custom commercial flooring orders. This role partners closely with Sales & Customer Service to ensure purchase orders are processed accurately and move efficiently through the production process.
Position OverviewThis fast‑paced, collaborative role is based in Cartersville, GA and works in a hybrid way with 3 days per week in office. The coordinator maintains a high‑quality customer experience by managing custom order workflows and coordinating across teams.
Responsibilities- Coordinate custom order processing by reviewing purchase orders for accuracy, ensuring required details are complete, and routing orders to the appropriate internal teams.
- Track and manage orders through the workflow, following up on missing information and ensuring timely movement to production.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Service and internal project teams to support order execution and resolve routine issues.
- Ensure order accuracy and documentation by reviewing specifications, pricing inputs, and supporting materials, and escalating discrepancies when needed.
- Support pricing and commission processes by validating order‑related data and ensuring required documentation is complete.
- Maintain order records and reporting, including tracking open and shipped orders and supporting month‑end processing.
- Provide customer and internal support by responding to order status inquiries and communicating updates clearly and promptly.
- 1–3+ years of experience in customer service, order processing, sales support, or operations coordination.
- Ability and willingness to work in a hybrid way in Cartersville, GA (3 days a week).
- Experience supporting custom or made‑to‑order products.
- Exposure to pricing, quoting, or order validation processes.
- Experience using business systems such as CRM, ERP, or order management tools (Salesforce or similar preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Background in manufacturing, commercial products, or related industries.

This is a full‑time position working day shift. Evening or Saturday shifts are very infrequent but may be required with emergency.
