Toolmaker

This is a full-time on-site role for a Toolmaker located in Cartersville, GA. The Toolmaker will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, repairing, and maintaining tools and dies used in the production process. Day-to-day tasks include reading technical drawings, operating machine tools, assembling mechanical components, inspecting and testing finished tools, and ensuring equipment functions efficiently. The role will require collaborative work with the production team to ensure timely and accurate production processes.

Qualifications

• Technical skills including experience in machining, CNC operation, and tool/die maintenance
• Proficiency with blueprint reading, CAD software, and measurement tools
• Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical or technical issues
• Strong attention to detail and precision in toolmaking and related tasks
• Physical ability to operate machinery and tools in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in tool and die making preferred
• Previous experience in toolmaking or related manufacturing roles is highly beneficial
