Material Handler

Start your new career as a Night Shift Material Handler with MAU at AHF in Cartersville, GA. As a Night Shift Material Handler, you will operate and maintain production machinery to support daily manufacturing goals in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

What We're Looking For:

* 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production

* High school diploma or GED

* Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial equipment

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

* Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

* Forklift certification or experience is a plus (training available)

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

What You'll Do as a Night Shift Material Handler:

* Operate and monitor production equipment including grinders, glue applicators, finishing lines, and forklifts

* Perform equipment start-up, changeover, and shutdown procedures

* Load raw materials and inspect finished products to ensure quality

* Conduct minor mechanical adjustments and report issues promptly

* Accurately document production data, material usage, and downtime

* Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use and chemical handling

* Work collaboratively to meet daily production targets

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

* Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in quality, efficiency, and waste reduction
