This is a highly cross‑functional role – ideal for someone who enjoys connecting systems, people, and processes to drive meaningful change.
Responsibilities- Drive Operational Excellence – Build and lead a plant‑wide continuous improvement (CI) pipeline aligned to business priorities.
- Lead a steady stream of process improvements and personally lead to the highest impact initiatives by using structured problem solving, observations, time studies, and data analysis.
- Establish and manage the operational excellence cadence (intake, prioritization, execution, sustainment) and ensure improvements “stick” through standard work, training, and system integration.
- Own Safety & Compliance Systems – Own and maintain the plant’s safety and compliance programs, drive proactive safety initiatives including audits, walkthroughs, and root‑cause investigations, translate safety insights into process improvements, and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
- Enable Training & High‑Performance Teams – Design and continuously improve a plant‑wide training system, partner with functional leaders to identify skill gaps, ensure alignment between process changes and training execution, and support a High‑Performance Team environment through role clarity and cross‑training.
- Serve as a data champion – develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility and execution, support cost analysis, savings tracking, and budget optimization, and partner across teams to improve system connectivity and workflow efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree (Industrial Engineering, Operations, Safety, or related field preferred).
- Experience leading process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing or operational environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Preferred experience with safety, compliance, training systems, or operational programs.
