Assembly Technician

Salary Range $17.00 - $18.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift 6am-4:30pm Education Level High School Diploma / GED Travel Percentage Occasional Travel (0-10%)

• Use tools to make, repair, and assemble parts and products.
• Interpret diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal and written instructions.
• Cut raw materials needed for completion of the job.
• Follow directions given to work as a team.
• Have full knowledge of all PPE gear required by MJC for the department
• Identify necessary components needed for completion of the job.
• Assemble various products, per training guidelines.
• Complete each job by finishing with an internal inspection of the assembly.
• Maintain a SAFE and CLEAN working environment.

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to operate essential hand tools (i.e., hammer, screwdriver, tape measure, pliers, drill, etc.).
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to identify parts from drawings provided.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use the decimal system.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while remaining stationary for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
